Maharashtra Law Common Entrance Test (MH-CET)
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. The exam is held for admission to approximately 10,860 seats (excluding management quota) in 5-year LLB programmes and around 16,420 seats in 3-year LLB programmes across participating law colleges in Maharashtra.
The MH CET Law exam is conducted online in both English and Marathi and assesses candidates on areas such as Legal Aptitude, Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, and English Language. For admission to the 5-year LLB programme, candidates must have completed Class 12, while a graduation degree is required for the 3-year LLB programme.
The MAH CET Law examinations are generally conducted in late April or early May. After the results are announced, qualified candidates are required to participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for seat allocation and admission to participating law colleges.
