Eligibility:
  • Candidates should score at least 40% of the marks in the AILET (30% for SC/ ST candidates)
  •  In order to appear for the AILET, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. However, candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply, provided they meet the above eligibility at the time of admission.

 

Total Seats:

  • The University admits 80students every year to the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)
  • 10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals.
  • Of the remainingseats (70), 15% are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

 

Apart from above 3 seats are supernumerary as follows:

  1. seat is reserved for migrants from Kashmir.
  2. seats are reserved for residents of Jammu and Kashmir
