  • B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations)

    Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi offers a three year B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations). This PROGRAM will largely involve innovation based on Mathematics and Information Technology. The PROGRAM will include training in core Mathematics, IT and science disciplines and additional courses on innovation and technology management, entrepreneurship, business, communication etc.


    B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations):
    This course offers students a chance to acquire in depth knowledge of Maths and IT along with disciplines like genetics, molecular biology, management, economics, electronics etc. Each semester consists of Interactive Learning Modules and activity Modules. In the former, students get in depth knowledge of disciplines like Seeing the world through calculus: First Steps, Modeling continuous change through ordinary differential equations and the Art of Communication.

    Eligibility Criteria 

    A minimum aggregate marks at 10+2 level as mentioned below (category wise) :
    General Category  : 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics)
    OBC category       : 54% in four subjects (including mathematics)
    PH category          : 55% in four subjects (including mathematics)
    SC/ST category     : Passing marks with mathematics as one subject


    Admission process
    • Written Test  - Multiple Choice Questions (One hour duration) + Interview of the short listed students
    • Candidate must be enrolled in any UG PROGRAM of Study in a regular college of University of Delhi, School of Open Learning (SOL) or Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board NCWEB) of University of Delhi at the time of admission.

    The admission to the course is through an entrance test (75% weightage) followed by an interview (25% weightage) of shortlisted candidates. 

    Content of Written Test:
    70 % Maths of +2 level and 30% basic English
